Basketball Recap: Roselle Catholic Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roselle Catholic). They walked away with a 72-60 victory over the Elizabeth Minutemen on Tuesday. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Minutemen, too.

Roselle Catholic's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Elizabeth, they moved to 7-1 with that loss, which also ended their 13-game winning streak.

Roselle Catholic will challenge Seton Hall Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elizabeth, they will head out on the road to take on Union at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
