Anacoco is 7-1 against Elizabeth since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Anacoco and Hicks, and Hicks kept the tradition alive. The Indians fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Indians have suffered since February 20, 2024.

Luke Thompson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to Pitkin. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since February 10th.

Anacoco's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Elizabeth, their loss dropped their record down to 21-7.

Everything went Anacoco's way against Elizabeth in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Anacoco made off with a 16-2 win. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
