Matt Gunzinger posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out five batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances.
