Football Recap: Elmwood Park Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Elmwood Park's offense. They had to suffer through a 37-0 loss at the hands of the Garfield Boilermakers. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Boilermakers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Elmwood Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Garfield, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Elmwood Park will be playing at home against Palisades Park/Leonia on Friday. As for Garfield, they are taking a road trip to take on Lodi at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Boilermakers will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
