Baseball Recap: Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers vs. Carrollton Hawks        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Greenfield/Northwestern gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Monday. They put the hurt on the Carrollton Hawks with a sharp  13-7 win. Winning may never get old, but Greenfield/Northwestern sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
 Greenfield/Northwestern let  Brody Reif and  Kohen Vetter loose on the outfield. Reif  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with a  home run and two  RBI, while  Vetter  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.  Brock Bowman was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-5.
 Greenfield/Northwestern's victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 10-6-1. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.3 runs per game. As for Carrollton, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost seven of their last eight matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenfield/Northwestern will  face off against Gillespie at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Carrollton, they are on the road again  on Tuesday to play North Greene at 4:30  p.m.
