Basketball Recap: Watertown-Mayer Takes a Loss

Watertown-Mayer lost against Glencoe-Silver Lake back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Watertown-Mayer Royals fell 74-63 to the Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Watertown-Mayer's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Glencoe-Silver Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Coming up, Watertown-Mayer will challenge Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glencoe-Silver Lake, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers take on the Cardinals at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
