Volleyball Game Preview: Live Oak Acorns vs. Lincoln Lions

The Live Oak Acorns will take on the Lincoln Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Live Oak made easy work of James Lick and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Lincoln had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They won by a set and slipped past Willow Glen 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since March 21, 2024.

The victory got Live Oak back to even at 6-6. As for Lincoln, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Live Oak beat Lincoln 3-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Does Live Oak have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lincoln turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
