Willis picks up sixth straight win at home

Recap: Willis Wildkats vs. Tomball Memorial Wildcats

The Willis Wildkats extended their postseason success on Friday against the Tomball Memorial Wildcats. They blew past the Wildcats 42-21. The win was just business as usual for Willis, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.

Leading Willis to victory were Derek Lagway and Jermaine Bishop jr. Lagway threw for 462 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt, while Bishop jr picked up 294 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Lagway hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for ten straight games.

Despite the loss, Tomball Memorial still got an impressive performance from Aiden Martin, who rushed for 128 yards, and also threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns.

Willis has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 12-0 record. As for Tomball Memorial, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2.

Willis will head out on the road to face off against DeSoto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. DeSoto is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Tomball Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
