Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Hebron Christian

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hebron Christian had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took down the Walker Wolverines 73-59. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Hebron Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jojo Deagle, who shot 64% from the field en route to 17 points and five rebounds. Deagle also posted an assist, marking his first of the season. Lukas Romine was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Hebron Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Walker lost, don't look at Xavier Berry. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-15 to rack up 16 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Anderson Carey, who posted 14 points.

Hebron Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Walker, their loss dropped their record down to 24-4.

Hebron Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 94-38 defeat against Holy Innocents Episcopal on the 26th. Walker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
