Basketball Recap: Crosspoint Christian's Win Ends 14-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Crosspoint Christian's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 23-13. The win was some much needed relief for Crosspoint Christian as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Leading Crosspoint Christian to victory were Ella Cobb and Beka Petry. Cobb posted four points along with nine steals and five rebounds, while Petry dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 boards. That's the most steals Cobb has posted since back in January of 2024.

Crosspoint Christian will be playing at home against The Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crosspoint Christian hasn't scored more than 23 points for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 54-4 defeat against Athens Christian Preparatory Academy on the 17th.
