Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harriton). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Springfield Cougars a 14-0 shutout on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Rams with their most commanding win of the season.

Harriton let Gaven Bowman and Cole Chodkowski run wild. Bowman went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Chodkowski went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four RBI gave Bowman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Colin Sullivan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Harriton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Harriton and bumps their season record up to 4-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Springfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harriton will take on Archbishop Wood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
