Basketball Recap: Virginia Academy Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

Virginia Academy entered their tilt with Fairfax HomeSchool on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks 70-13. Given the Patriots 's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Hawks are ranked 59th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Virginia Academy pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points over those games. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-6.
