Basketball Recap: 12 Straight Home Victories for Appling County

It's playoff time, and Appling County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors 58-55.

Appling County's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makayla Williams, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave Williams a new career-high in steals (two). Another player making a difference was Perri Mitchell, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
