Joliet West entered their tilt with Joliet Central on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Steelmen. The result was nothing new for Joliet West, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Joliet Central with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emma Vugteveen (5), Alicia Casillas, Isabel Cordoba, and Jada Perez.

Joliet West pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four games. As for Joliet Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
