Soccer Recap: Lincoln-Way West Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Lincoln-Way West was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lincoln-Way Central Knights by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Lincoln-Way West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 200th, while Lincoln-Way Central are ranked 31st).

Lincoln-Way West's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Lincoln-Way Central, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
