Softball Recap: Bishop Stang Comes Up Short

Bishop Stang lost against Archbishop Williams back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spartans fell 8-3 to the Bishops. The Spartans' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Ava Texeira made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Bishop Stang's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Archbishop Williams, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Bishop Stang will be playing at home against Bishop Fenwick at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Archbishop Williams, they will head out to face off against Arlington Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
