Basketball Recap: Groom Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hedley last Tuesday, Groom came back down to earth. The Groom Tigers lost 53-33 to the White Deer Bucks on Friday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bucks earlier this season, when they won 45-40.

Groom's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for White Deer, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Claude the next time they take the court. White Deer will host Claude at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Groom will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
