Recap: Dexter Tigers vs. Schenck Wolverines
The Dexter Tigers were the 60-55 winner over the Schenck Wolverines when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Dexter falling 36-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points they have scored all season.
Dexter's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kody Kimball, who scored five points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ethan Doherty, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Dexter now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Schenck, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Dexter will head out on the road to challenge Bangor Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bangor Christian will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Schenck won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Greenville at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Greenville has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8.
