Baseball Recap: Platte Canyon Comes Up Short

Platte Canyon lost against Bishop Machebeuf back in March of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Huskies came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 11-5. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Platte Canyon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Haase, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Dylan Severson, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Platte Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Bishop Machebeuf, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8.

While Platte Canyon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
