Soccer Recap: Incarnate Word Academy Takes a Loss

Incarnate Word Academy was the 4-1 winner over St. Augustine when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Incarnate Word Academy Angels fell just short of the St. Augustine Knights by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Angels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Incarnate Word Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for St. Augustine, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Incarnate Word Academy is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will face off against Geneva at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Augustine, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Anthony at 3:00 p.m. on January 29th.
