After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Evangelical Christian, Golden Gate was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the South Fort Myers Wolfpack, sneaking past 43-41. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 48-27 win the Wolfpack walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2022.
Despite the loss, South Fort Myers saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mariah Thorne dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards.
