Armuchee came tearing into Saturday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Sand Rock Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Ella Dehart paced Armuchee's offense, picking up six kills. Dehart got some help from Ava Grace Crump and her 13 assists. Ansley Cordle controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Armuchee's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Sand Rock, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Armuchee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Northwest Whitfield on the 23rd. As for Sand Rock, they will venture away from home to challenge Pleasant Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
