Grissom gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Lee Generals 41-6 at home. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Among those leading the charge was DJ Padgett, who rushed for 94 yards.
Grissom will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Huntsville at 7:00 p.m. on September 6th. As for Lee, they will host Bob Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
