Baseball Recap: Appleton West Triumphs

Appleton West won the last time they faced Oshkosh North and things went their way on Thursday too. The Terrors came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 5-2.

Appleton West's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Quinn Mueller, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Dimitry Edmunds, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

The win got Appleton West back to even at 1-1. As for Oshkosh North, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Appleton West will challenge DeForest on Saturday. As for Oshkosh North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wausau West at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
