Baseball Recap: Del Norte Takes a Loss

Del Norte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-4 to the St. Augustine Saints.

Del Norte saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Richie Moore, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Landon Cheshire was another, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Del Norte's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for St. Augustine, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Del Norte will head out to take on Santana at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Augustine, they will venture away from home to challenge Bonita Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
