Basketball Recap: St. Regis Takes a Loss

St. Regis was the 45-40 winner over Lincoln when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Regis Tigers lost 55-34 to the Lincoln Lynx on Saturday. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Lincoln got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Teegan Riddle out in front who went 8-for-16 en route to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. That's the most points Riddle has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kayden Riddle, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 12 points and six boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Regis fell to 9-1. As for Lincoln, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

St. Regis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-29 win against Simms on the 14th.
