Volleyball Recap: Cornerstone Charter Find Success

Cornerstone Charter saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the A.C. Reynolds Rockets.

Caroline Smith paced Cornerstone Charter's offense, picking up 12 kills. Smith got some help from Ashley Belland and her 11 assists. Aubrey Kimball and Emery Jones kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Cornerstone Charter's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for A.C. Reynolds, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Cornerstone Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Ayden - Grifton on the 16th. As for A.C. Reynolds, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against East Mecklenburg on the 16th.
