There's no place like home for Jeannette, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the Clairton Bears 60-45 on Friday. Given the Jayhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Bears are ranked 405th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jeannette's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Clairton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Jeannette wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-25 victory against Bentworth on the 8th. As for Clairton, they will host Portersville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
