Soccer Recap: Lancaster vs. South Pointe
After flying high against Darlington last Tuesday, Lancaster came back down to earth. The Lancaster Bruins lost 6-0 to the South Pointe Stallions on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lancaster of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.
Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for South Pointe, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.
Lancaster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Pointe, they will head out on the road to face off against Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
