Softball Recap: Freedom's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Freedom came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 17-0 to the Alexander Central Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 18-0 loss two weeks ago.

The loss snapped Freedom's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-16 record. As for Alexander Central, the victory was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-1.

Freedom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alexander Central, they will take on South Caldwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
