Basketball Recap: Pekin Takes a Loss

Pekin was the 54-49 winner over Highland when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Pekin Panthers fell 60-49 to the Highland Huskies on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pekin's record now sits at 8-11. As for Highland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Pekin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-38 loss against Davis County on the 3rd. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-34 win against Louisa-Muscatine on the 4th.
