Baseball Preview: Memphis Central Warriors vs. Middle College Bulldogs
The Memphis Central Warriors will square off against the Middle College Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Last Wednesday, Memphis Central got the win against Trezevant by a conclusive 13-6. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Memphis Central got a massive performance out of Malachai Adams, who scored three runs and stole Eight bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Adams is becoming a predictor of Memphis Central's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Jayden Cole was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Five bases. while going 3-for-3.
Memphis Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Trezevant only posted a batting average of .200.
Meanwhile, Middle College made easy work of Bolton on Tuesday and carried off an 18-2 victory.
Jordan Stevens and Shawn Herring did most of the damage at the plate: Stevens scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 3-for-3, while Herring scored three runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave Herring a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton McBride, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Memphis Central's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Middle College, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
