Softball Recap: Willits Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middletown, Willits was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 12-9 win over the Ferndale Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Abigail Sherf was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Eight bases. while going 4-for-4. Alexandra Ramos was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-4.

Willits' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Coming up, Willits will challenge Clear Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ferndale, they have already played their next match, a 14-1 win against Hayfork on the 20th.
