The Bishop Kenny Crusaders extended their postseason success on Friday against the Bolles Bulldogs. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs and snuck past 51-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bishop Kenny.

Clare Coyle was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with two steals. She hasn't dropped below 19 points for four straight games. Sydney Roundtree was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight assists and two steals.

Bolles lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Terrell McCoy, who scored ten points along with four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Evie Freeman, who scored ten points along with eight assists.

Bishop Kenny's victory was their 26th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Bolles, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

Bishop Kenny's homestand continues as they prepare to take on South Walton at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. South Walton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Bishop Kenny is ranked 18th). Bolles is on the road again on Wednesday and plays Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th. Hopefully Bolles focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
