The St. Pius X Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. Their tough 71-51 defeat to St. Thomas Catholic might stick with them for a while. St. Pius X was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Thomas Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Perhaps the best among them was Evan Levy, who scored 19 points along with five assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Kimble, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Pius X will take on Village at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Pius X is facing Village at the right time seeing as Village is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Thomas Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Thomas Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Central Catholic likes a good challenge.
