Basketball Recap: Valdosta Wildcats vs. Walker Wolverines

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Blythewood, Valdosta was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They snuck past the Walker Wolverines with a 58-52 win.

Kaleb Johnson went supernova for Valdosta, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Jabarri Williams, who posted nine points in addition to eight assists and five rebounds.

Despite the loss, Walker still got an impressive performance from King Daniel Hernandez, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 22 points and six rebounds. Hernandez's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Berry, who had five points along with six assists and six boards.
