Volleyball Game Preview: Granite Hills Eagles vs. Eastlake Titans

Granite Hills hasn't had much luck against Eastlake recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Granite Hills will head out on the road to square off against Eastlake at 6:00 p.m. Granite Hills is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Last Thursday, Granite Hills got the win against Grossmont by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Eastlake didn't have quite enough to beat Torrey Pines on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastlake took Torrey Pines into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-12, 25-20, 22-25, 17-15.

Granite Hills' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. As for Eastlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Granite Hills couldn't quite get it done against Eastlake in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can Granite Hills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
