Softball Game Preview: Eupora Eagles vs. East Webster Wolverines

For the second straight game, Eupora will face off against East Webster. The Eagles will square off against the Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eupora is on a four-game streak of home wins, East Webster a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.

Eupora barely beat East Webster the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 9-3 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 18 games by six runs or more so far this season.

For East Webster's part, they got a good showing from June Gray, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, East Webster saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Perrigin, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

The defeat snapped East Webster's winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 15-8 record. As for Eupora, their victory bumped their record up to 22-2.
