Softball Recap: Mt. Shasta Wins Going Away Against CORE Butte

Mt. Shasta saw some tournament action on Friday. They blew past the CORE Butte Lynx 14-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

The victory got Mt. Shasta back to even at 2-2. As for CORE Butte, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Mt. Shasta wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-5 win against Plumas Charter on the 21st. As for CORE Butte, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-4 loss against Portola on the 21st.
