Salinas has gone a perfect 3-0 against Watsonville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cowboys will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcatz at 6:00 p.m. Salinas is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Salinas saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Immanuel.

Meanwhile, Watsonville can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Monterey Bay Academy.

While Watsonville might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Monterey Bay Academy scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 21-25, 25-23.

Watsonville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. As for Salinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Salinas skirted past Watsonville 3-2 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Do the Cowboys have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcatz turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
