Football Recap: Pueblo Centennial Comes Up Short

Pueblo Centennial fell victim to Pueblo South and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 44-0 defeat at the hands of the Colts. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Caeden Herrera was his usual excellent self, throwing for 135 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes for Pueblo South. The dominant performance also gave Herrera a new career-high in passer rating (156.3). Another big playmaker for Pueblo South was Jake Pisciotta, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Pueblo Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Pueblo South, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
