University Prep had won three straight games and Maya Tabarez did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Lassen Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 victory thanks in part to Tabarez, who had 14 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: University Prep took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-15.

University Prep's win bumped their record up to 25-8. As for Lassen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 18 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
