After losing to Cape Elizabeth the last time they met, Mt. Ararat decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles came out on top against the Capers by a score of 4-1 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won four matches in a row.

The team relied heavily on Andrew Clemons, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Those stolen bases were his first of the season.

Mt. Ararat's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Cape Elizabeth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Ararat will square off against Bangor at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.5, the Rams 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Cape Elizabeth, they will challenge York at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
