Soccer Recap: Valor Academy Comes Up Short

Valor Academy lost against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. While losing is never fun, Valor Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1168th, while Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology is ranked 314th).

Valor Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-9-2 record this season. As for Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valor Academy will welcome Discovery on Thursday. Valor Academy is facing Discovery at the right time seeing as Discovery is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
