There's no place like home for the Episcopal Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past Legacy School of Sport Sciences with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 71-57. Given Episcopal's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while Legacy School of Sport Sciences is ranked 349th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Legacy School of Sport Sciences still got an impressive performance from Simran Williams, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Brittney Anderson, who scored 12 points.
Episcopal's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Legacy School of Sport Sciences, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
Episcopal will be playing at home against Cooper at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cooper comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Legacy School of Sport Sciences, they will head out on the road to challenge San Marcos HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. San Marcos HomeSchool is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
