While Tallmadge's victory against Roosevelt wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rough Riders 4-2. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Rough Riders: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Marissa Charton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Leila Staszak, who earned two runs and one stolen base.

Tallmadge now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10-1.

Tallmadge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 17-4 win against Copley on the 30th. As for Roosevelt, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-6 defeat against Kenston on the 29th.
