Soccer Recap: Marian Catholic Takes a Loss

Marian Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils.

Marian Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Shenandoah Valley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Marian Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Pine Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shenandoah Valley, they are taking a road trip to face off against Tamaqua at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
