With a playoff win on the line, Roxbury rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lakeland Regional Lancers a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Gaels, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Roxbury and bumps their season record up to 16-12-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Lakeland Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

Looking ahead, Roxbury will challenge River Dell on Thursday. Lakeland Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
