Football Recap: Fairfield/Augusta Comes Up Short

After flying high against Shelby last Friday, Fairfield/Augusta came back down to earth. Fairfield/Augusta fell 27-14 to the Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson Mustangs on Friday. The loss continues a trend for Fairfield/Augusta in their meetings with Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson: they've now lost five in a row.

Fairfield/Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
