Volleyball Recap: Newcastle Comes Up Short

Newcastle lost against Norman back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Racers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Racers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Norman was led to victory by Cameran Kelly and Georgia Caddell. Kelly had eight digs and two aces, while Caddell had ten assists and two aces.

Newcastle now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Norman, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Newcastle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Blanchard on the 19th. As for Norman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Weatherford on the 19th.
